Sydney Airport Terminal 2 (T2)
Sydney AirportTerminal 2 (T2) is located 9km (a 30 minute drive) south of the city in Mascot. Other airlines operating at Terminal 2 (T2) include Virgin Australia, REX and Jetstar. Qantas flights normally operate from Terminal 3 (T3) and all international flights operate from Terminal 1 (T1).
Departures
Check-in is at Counter 25 which is located in the middle of the Terminal 2 main departures hall, closest to the security checkpoint. Once you have checked-in make your way through the security screening point, turn right and head down to the departures level. Proceed through the food court to boarding Gate 1 (G1) which is located just past the food court on the right-hand side.
Arrivals
You will arrive directly into the baggage hall on the lower ground floor of Terminal 2. Link Airways baggage belt is the closest to where you enter the terminal, or if you were to enter the terminal from roadside the baggage belt at the furthest right-hand end of the building. Please be aware that we don’t transfer your baggage between airlines. If you’re transferring between airlines you’ll need to collect your baggage, transfer your bags and Check-In again with your next carrier.
