Link Airways has today announced an update to its Wollongong (Shellharbour) network effective from Wednesday 20 May 2026.

Suspension of Wollongong (Shellharbour) flights to Brisbane and Melbourne

• Due to increased fuel costs and reduced demand all Wollongong flights will be suspended.
• Affected customers will be contacted and offered a full refund.
• We will continue to monitor the market closely and look to return to Wollongong when demand recovers.

Link Airways would like to thank the Illawarra community, and Councils, for their on-going support since Link Airways’ commenced flights from Wollongong (Shellharbour Airport) in November 2018.
