Enhanced Schedule For Flights Between Orange, Melbourne & Brisbane

31 January 2018

Fly Corporate has today released an enhanced schedule for its services connecting Brisbane, Orange and Melbourne (Essendon).

The most significant benefits of the new timetable will be that Fly Corporate will be overnighting an aircraft in Orange to provide an early 6.15am departure to Melbourne on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. An arrival time of 8am at Melbourne’s Essendon Airport provides passengers access to a full day in Melbourne and also greater opportunities to connect with both domestic and international flights – a free shuttle service is provided between Essendon and Tullamarine airports and a low-cost shuttle service is available between Essendon and the city.  The return flight to Orange departs Melbourne at 8.35am arriving in Orange at 10.10am.

Other improvements include an afternoon service from Brisbane to Orange on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday departing Brisbane at 4pm local time (3pm during daylight savings period) and arriving in Orange 2 hours later at 6pm. The existing Monday and Friday services between Brisbane, Orange and Melbourne remain unchanged.

Commenting on the changes Fly Corporate CEO Mr Andrew Major said “We have been very pleased with the performance of our Orange services – the schedule changes are in response to feedback from both the community and the Orange City Council that indicated there is a firm desire for more early morning flights – particularly on the Orange/Melbourne route. We are confident in the ability of the new timetable to satisfy that demand”.

Mr Major also took the opportunity to thank all of the people who have supported Fly Corporate services since commencement of flights on these routes and said that he looked forward to more people taking advantage of the convenience of direct flights between Orange, Brisbane and Melbourne.
